How to Start a Snackmagic Gift Sender's Order (Non-US Gift Sender)

Snackmagic has grown beyond borders, making it easier than ever to send delightful gifts worldwide. Whether you're sending a treat to friends, colleagues, or teams, we've got you covered. This guide will walk you through the steps to start a Snackmagic order as a non-US sender, ensuring your recipients can enjoy curated treats no matter where they are.

 

Here are the steps on how to start a Snackmagic gift order as a non-US sender:

 

Initiate Order Setup

 

 

 

  • Complete the 'Create a New Treat' form.
  • Click CREATE ORDER to continue.

 

Selecting Your Treat Type

 

  • Select what type of box you would like to send

     

    • Pick-Your-Own allows non-US recipients to select the curated stash they want from their country's menu.

    • Senders Choice - recipients will receive snacks based on the curated box you select.

    • For Recipients outside your base country, they will select from the stashes available in their country. This applies whether you go for the pick-your-own or sender's choice option.

      ** Recipients will be able to indicate their dietary restrictions, depending on the availability of dietary restrictions in their country's menu **

       

 

 

Indicate Your Treat Budget

 

  • Select/input the budget for the boxes that your recipients will receive.

Please note that the price may vary depending on your country.

 

 

 

Theme Selection - Sender's Choice

 
  • For Sender's Choice orders, you can select one or more themes for the snack boxes your recipients can choose from by clicking the plus (+) symbol. The more themes you select, the more variety they’ll have when browsing the menu.
  • Or, if you prefer simplicity, just pick one theme, and all your recipients will receive the same stash.
  • Click 'NEXT' to continue
 

 

 

Choose Between Closed Link And MagicLink™

 

  • Select the gift redemption link type for your order

    • Closed Link - only email addresses added to your recipients' list will be allowed to redeem. We will send them an email where they can redeem the treat. (please make sure that the email addresses are correctly spelled.)

    • MagicLink™ - upon checkout, you will receive a unique link from us. this link can be shared with your recipients.

      • Since anyone can redeem, you will need to approve and deny the orders from your Treats dashboard.

      • Redemptions will not be fulfilled unless you add the email address to the order for automatic approval; otherwise, manual approval will be required.

      • If you place email addresses in a magic link option, they are automatically approved.

 


 

 

 

Enter the Total Number of Recipients

  • Tell us how many recipients you are sending the gifts to (including recipients outside your base country). 

 

  • If there are no recipients outside your country, please enter 0.
  • Click 'NEXT' to continue.

 

 

Add Recipient's Email Address

 

  • Provide your approved recipients' email addresses

    • You may copy an entire column from a spreadsheet and paste it all at once.

    • You may leave this field blank and click 'SAVE & CONTINUE' If you selected 'MagicLink™' And prefer to manually approve email addresses.

 



 
 

Set Order Expiration

  • Indicate a date when you want the order link to expire. This will be the last day that your recipients are allowed to redeem the treat.
  • Click 'SAVE AND CONTINUE' to go to the next page

 

 
 

Select Shipping Method


 

  • Select your shipping method then click SAVE AND CONTINUE.

 

 

Add a Recipient Landing Page Message

 
  • Include a Personalized message that your recipients will see on the invitation email and/or on the landing page.
  • Click 'SAVE AND CONTINUE' to go to the next page.
 

 

 

Add-Ons and Customization

 

  • Simply choose your add-ons! This will make the experience more personal.
  • Click 'NEXT' to continue.

 

 
 
 

DIGITAL BRANDING EXPERIENCE

 
  • Customize the recipient's experience when redeeming the treat. You can place your logo on our website. You'll be able to upload the artwork to your Treats Dashboard after checkout.

VIDEO

 

  • You can also add a video for the recipients to see when redeeming the treat. Please send the video via our ✨Contact us form so we can upload it to the landing page.

CUSTOM NOTE

  • You can add a custom note to the Snackmagic box of your recipients. You can upload an image or you can write a message. We have a 500-character limit (including spaces)

Recipient Email Invitation Setup

  • Once you've finished customizing your box and choosing add-ons, fill out the email message form if you wish your recipients to receive an automated email.
  • Indicate when you want your recipients to receive the invitation link to start redeeming their gift.

 

This can be:

  • Immediately after payment

  • On a specific date and time

  • Don’t send the invitation email - if you wish to send them the link yourself. 

 


 

 

Proceed to Checkout

 

  • Once you've finished customizing your box and choosing add-ons, you will have the chance to review your order before checkout. Make sure to review all the details thoroughly.

     

 

 

 

 

Review Your Order

 

  • Review the Order Summary and then input your payment method.

     

    • My Wallet

    • Credit card

    • Corporate billing - Book a call with us for invoicing approval (100+ boxes)




 
 

Choose or Add a Payment Method

  • Select or add a payment method.
  • Make sure to scroll down to view all payment options.


 
 
  • Scroll down and add the Billing Country and Zip Code.
  • After entering the details, click NEXT to proceed.

 

 

 

Choose a Refund Method

  • Let us know how you want to receive any unredeemed amount at the end of the process.

     

    • My Wallet - Free

      You’ll get 100% of what you paid for immediately to regift or use for yourself.

       

    • Recipient's Wallet - Free

      The unused budget will be credited to every recipient associated with your treat (add-ons will be refunded to your Wallet).

       

    • Refund to Credit Card

      You will be refunded to the credit card you used when you initially placed the order. Please note that there is an additional 10% fee for the amount to be refunded. This will cover the banking charges and other miscellaneous fees.

       

Note: You'll be charged for any recipients added after order creation

 

Place the Order and Get a Confirmation

 

  • After choosing a refund method, click on PLACE ORDER. 

 

 
 
  • After placing your order, you'll receive a confirmation with the order number and a unique invitation link. You can share this link with your recipients, or if you choose Snackmagic to send the invitation, emails will be sent to your recipients either immediately or on the date and time you selected. Our system will continue to send reminders to recipients who haven’t redeemed their treat until the order expires.
