Are you looking to surprise international recipients with a curated SnackMagic box but want more control over the items they receive? This guide will walk you through the entire process of setting up a Pick-Your-Own (PYO) International Surprise Order
Please note: Surprise Order Pick-Your-Own requires a minimum of 25 recipients and there will be a $50 processing fee if you want to choose a different curated box per recipient (no extra fee if you only want to choose 1 curated box per country).
Surprise orders for international recipients will receive the most popular box for their country. If you would like to choose boxes for each country, please follow the steps below:
Here is a step-by-step guide on how to create a PYO Surprise Box order for NON-US and Canada recipients:
Initiate Order Setup
- Go to snackmagic.com and log in to your account.
- Click START AN ORDER or SEND A TREAT.
- Fill out the Create New Treat form and select the treat type (Snacks, SwagOnly, Snack+Swag)
- Click the CREATE ORDER button to continue.
Select Treat Type
- Select ‘Surprise Box’ and click NEXT.
Add a Budget
- Choose the budget for the boxes your recipients will receive. Prices start at $45, with the most popular option being $60.
- Click NEXT to continue.
Select Curated Box Medley
- You will be prompted to select a curated box medley. Please note that the curated medley here are only applicable for US & Canada recipients.
- You can view the possible snacks in each stash by clicking VIEW ALL ITEMS.
- Click SAVE AND CONTINUE.
Add the Number of Recipients
- Enter the total number of recipients, including the number of non-US recipients.
- Click NEXT to continue.

On the recipients' screen, leave both the "Add US and Canadian Addresses" and/or "Add International Addresses" blank. Do not enter any recipient addresses, as we will need to edit the orders on the backend later.
- Click "I'll upload later/Skip," then click "SAVE & CONTINUE."
Enter the Order Expiration Date
- Indicate a date when you want the order to expire. By default, it's set to one year from the order creation date.
Choose a Shipping Method
- Select your shipping method then click SAVE AND CONTINUE.
ADD-ONS and CUSTOMIZATION
- Simply choose your add-ons! This will make the experience more personal.
CUSTOM BOX

For a more elegant feel, you can upgrade from a standard SnackMagic Box to a Premium Black Box. Or customize the box with your artwork or logo. You'll be able to upload the artwork to your Treats Dashboard after checkout.
- (This option is only available for US & Canada recipients).
CUSTOM NOTE (Also available for International Recipients)
- You can also add a custom note to the SnackMagic box of your recipients. You can upload an image or you can write a message. We have a 500-character limit (including spaces)
Add Donation (optional)

You can also choose to donate from our partner organizations. Simply enter the amount that you want to donate. In case you do not see an organization that you prefer, send us an email at donations@snackmagic.com.
Checkout Process

Once you've finished customizing your box and choosing add-ons, you will have the chance to review your order before checkout. Make sure to review all the details thoroughly.

Choose or Add A Payment Method
- Select or Add a payment method.
- Make sure to scroll down to view all payment options.
- Scroll down and add the Billing Country and Zip Code.
- After entering the details, click NEXT to proceed.
Refund Options

Let us know how you want to receive any unredeemed amount at the end of the process.

My Stadium Wallet - Free
You’ll get 100% of what you paid for immediately to regift or use for yourself.

Recipient's Wallet - Free
The unused budget will be credited to every recipient associated with your treat (add-ons will be refunded to your Wallet).

Refund to Credit Card
You will be refunded back to the credit card you used when you initially placed the order. Please note that there is an additional 10% fee for the amount to be refunded. This will cover the banking charges and other miscellaneous fees.
*This is part of the process to ensure that we have a refund method set up in your order in other cases like cancelation and unforeseen events that require a refund.

- After choosing a refund method, click on PLACE ODER.
Place the Order and Get a Confirmation
- After placing your order, you will see the confirmation page with your order number. You can also download your initial receipt from here.
Fill out the Excel Sheet
After placing the order, download and fill out this sheet.

Make sure to complete all tabs on the Excel file and add the name of the curated stash in column L.

Send the Completed Sheet for Processing
- Send the completed sheet via our ✨Contact Us form and we will process the order.
- Please note that an additional $50 processing fee will be charged to your order manually once the recipient orders are uploaded.
- Lastly, once your order has been processed, you will be able to check on the status of your order and upload any of your assets to your 👉 Treats Dashboard.
Here's how:
- Click on MySnackMagic then go to Sent Treats
- Click VIEW STATUS on the treat you want to check
