If you'd like all recipients to receive the same themed box, or if you'd prefer to let them choose from a selection of themed options, creating a curated box gift order is the perfect solution.
Here’s a Step-By-Step Guide for Creating a Curated Box Sender's Gift Order
Initiate Order Setup
- After logging in to snackmagic.com, click START AN ORDER or SEND A TREAT.
- Complete the 'Create a New Treat' form and select what you want your recipients to receive (snacks, swag, or snacks + swag).
- Click CREATE ORDER to continue.
Select a Treat Type
- Select Curated Box - recipients will receive snacks based on the theme you select.
Indicate Your Treat Budget
- Choose the budget for the boxes your recipients will receive. Prices start at $45, with the most popular option being $60.
Note: The item count may vary based on the treat budget and the prices of the items. Click on 'VIEW ALL ITEMS' on the next page to see what may be included in each stash.
Choose a Curated Box
Decide how you want recipients to receive their treats—whether it's a single themed box or a selection of curated options.
✅ Option 1: Let Recipients Choose from Multiple Curated Boxes

Check the box labeled “Let them pick any curated stashes.”

You can select multiple themes from our curated menu.

Recipients will be able to choose their favorite box from the options you’ve selected.
📦 Option 2: Send One Curated Box to All Recipients

Uncheck the “Let them pick any curated stashes” box.

Choose one curated box that all your recipients will receive.

This is ideal if you want a consistent theme for everyone.

🌍 International Recipients

Recipients outside the US and Canada will see a curated menu based on availability in their country.

This applies whether you choose the Build-Your-Own Box or a Curated Box option.

Choose Between Closed Link and MagicLink™

Select the gift redemption link type for your order

Closed link - only email addresses added to your recipients' list will be allowed to redeem. We will send them an email where they can redeem the treat. (please make sure that the email addresses are correctly spelled.)

MagicLink™ - upon checkout, you will receive a unique link from us. this link can be shared with your recipients.

Since anyone can redeem, you will need to approve and deny the orders from your Treats dashboard.

Redemptions will not be fulfilled unless you add the email address to the order for automatic approval; otherwise, manual approval will be required.

If you place email addresses in a magic link option, they are automatically approved.

Enter the Total Number of Recipients
- Let us know the number of recipients, including any international recipients.
- If there are no international recipients, please enter 0.
- Click NEXT To continue.
Add Recipient's Email Address

Provide your approved recipients' email addresses

You may copy an entire column from a spreadsheet and paste it one time

You may leave this field blank and click 'SAVE & CONTINUE' If you selected 'MagicLink™' And prefer to manually approve email addresses.

Collect Recipient Information
- Select if you want to collect recipient addresses or not.
- Click 'SAVE & CONTINUE' to proceed
If enabled, please note that recipients will have the ability to choose if they want to share the shipping details or not when they redeem the treat.
Set Order Expiration Date
- Indicate a date when you want the order link to expire. This will be the last day that your recipients are allowed to redeem the treat.
Select Shipping Method
- Select your shipping method, then click SAVE AND CONTINUE.
- Please note that if you choose delivery close to a specific date, our team processes orders 14 days in advance, and your snack box may arrive earlier if the destination is close to our New York warehouse.
Add a Recipient Landing Page Message
- Include a Personalized message that your recipients will see on the invitation email and/or on the landing page.

Simply choose your add-ons! This will make the experience more personal.
DIGITAL BRANDING EXPERIENCE

Customize the recipient's experience when redeeming the treat. You can place your logo or artwork on the menu. You'll be able to upload the artwork to your Treats Dashboard after checkout.
VIDEO
- You can also add a video for the recipients to see when redeeming their treat. Please send the video to hi@snackmagic.com so we can upload it to the landing page.
- The video resolution must be 720p or 1080p.
SWAG

Select "Yes" if you'd like to include swag in your snack boxes.

You can either send us your pre-purchased swag or purchase directly from us.

CUSTOM BOX

For a more elegant feel, you can upgrade from a standard SnackMagic Box to a Premium Black Box. Or customize the box with your artwork or logo. You'll be able to upload the artwork to your Treats Dashboard after checkout.

CUSTOM NOTE (Also available for International Recipients)

You can add a custom note to the SnackMagic box of your recipients. You can upload an image or you can write a message. We have a 500-character limit (including spaces)
DONATE (Optional)
- You can also choose to donate to our partner organizations. Simply enter the amount that you want to donate. In case you do not see an organization that you prefer, send us an email at donations@snackmagic.com.
Recipient Email Invitation Setup

Once you've finished customizing your box and choosing add-ons, indicate when you want your recipients to receive the invitation link to start redeeming their gift. This can be:

On a specific date and time

Don’t send the invitation email - if you wish to send them the link yourself.

Proceed to Checkout

Once you've finished customizing your box and choosing add-ons, you will have the chance to review your order before checkout. Make sure to review all the details thoroughly.

You’ll get 100% of what you paid for immediately to regift or use for yourself.

Recipient's wallet - free
The unused budget will be credited to every recipient associated with your treat (add-ons will be refunded to your wallet).

Refund to credit card
You will be refunded back to the credit card you used when you initially placed the order. Please note that there is an additional 10% fee for the amount to be refunded. This will cover the banking charges and other miscellaneous fees.

Note: you'll be charged for any recipients added after order creation.
Place the Order and Get a Confirmation
- After choosing a refund method, click on PLACE ORDER.
Confirmation
- After placing your order, you'll receive a confirmation with the order number and a unique invitation link. You can share this link with your recipients, or if you choose SnackMagic to send the invitation, emails will be sent to your recipients either immediately or on the date and time you selected. Our system will continue to send reminders to recipients who haven’t redeemed their treat until the order expires.
